A few years ago I visited Kenya, and Nairobi and was taken by a very unwilling guide to the City Market He did not think it the place to take tourists!!

My determination paid off when from under a counter a suitcase of odds and ends of old and ancient bits and pieces appeared, instead of all the ‘new made’.

These necklaces are made predominantly from the bits I bought that day with some other additions
